Travel Insurance

No foreign travel can be guaranteed as safe, and you must take
personal responsibility for your own travel.

Making sure you are fully covered:

When booking a holiday with us, it’s more important than ever to make sure you have adequate travel insurance in place and is a mandatory requirement.
Having insurance brings peace of mind, protecting your booking before you travel and for any eventualities while you are overseas.
There has been a lot of coverage in the media about travel insurance in the event of a pandemic, with many travel insurers either withdrawing cover entirely or adding exclusions to their existing products.

Please visit and read Guidance on Foreign travel insurance.

The Association of British Insurers (ABI) represents over 200 insurance companies.
Read ABI’s advice on travel insurance , including how COVID-19 can affect it, and their guide on choosing the right travel insurance policy.

Older travellers:

If an insurer or broker can’t offer you insurance because of your age, most of them will refer you to
an alternative insurer or give details of a signposting service such as the British Insurance Brokers’
Association’s (BIBA’s) ‘Find a Broker’ service. You can use this service to find specialist insurers who
can offer specific types of cover based on factors such as age and medical condition.

You can find the BIBA’s ‘Find a Broker’ service by phoning their helpline on 0870 950 1790 or by
going to their website at www.biba.org.uk
